This subject is dedicated to the rather extensive subject of the determination of Sr in environmental samples, radioactive isotopes as well as stable isotopes (e.g. for Sr isotope ratio determination).
One interesting point to discuss would be which matrix is posing most problems and which aspect of the matrix exactly (sample preparation/matrix removal/interferences on the columns); another point would be the use of 3 window LSC methods using Sr-85 (already widely used?)...

P.S.: The AKU published a booklet on the determination of Sr-89 and 90 in environmental samples which contains a lot of information on all aspects of Sr analytics (sample prep., seperation, counting, data evaluation....) title: "Moderne Routine- und Schnellmethoden zur Bestimmung von Sr-89 und Sr-90 bei der Umweltüberwachung" (FS-08-147-AKU; Verlag TÜV Media GmbH, Köln). At the moment the publication is only available in german, but I understood that it will also be translated in english.
